Our Mission
Masjid Al-Hikmah is a home for the Muslims of East London. We provide a space for daily Salah, Islamic education, and community support — rooted in the Qur'an and Sunnah.
Our History
Masjid Al-Hikmah has been serving the local Muslim community since 1970. What began as a small prayer space has grown into a full Islamic Centre, and today we are rebuilding our facilities to serve the ummah for generations to come.
What We Offer
Daily Salah
Five daily prayers in Jama'ah, in a large prayer hall with wudu facilities.
Jumu'ah
Weekly Friday prayers — with 2 khutbahs back to back to serve our growing community.
Islamic Education
A full Madrassah program for the youth. Quran and Islamic Studies.
Community Events
Regular talks, lectures, and celebrations throughout the Islamic calendar.
